Our Pastor

Pastor Duane and his wife Elizabeth, with their four children, have been with Resurrection in the City since August 2020. He has a Bachelor's degree in Church Music from Concordia University, Texas, and his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Since seminary, and before accepting his Call to Denver, he has served as a parish pastor in suburban St. Louis, and as career missionary in the country of Belize. Outside of work and family time he enjoys singing in his barbershop quartet, daily visits to Embrace North (the new, local sauna and cold-plunge facility), cooking within a variety of ethnic cuisines and brewing his own beer to serve on tap in the church’s cigar lounge.
