Our Pastor

Pastor Duane and his wife Elizabeth, with their four children, have been with Resurrection in the City since August 2020. He has a Bachelor's degree in Church Music from Concordia University, Texas, and his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Since seminary, he has served as a congregational pastor, a career pastoral missionary in the country of Belize, and as the president of a non-profit organization serving the Lutheran mission in Belize. He enjoys singing in his barbershop quartet, playing the recorder, hiking, cooking & eating exotic foods, and brewing beer.
