Beliefs.

At Resurrection in the City we believe "it's all about Jesus." For us, that means we humbly aim to love like Jesus loves, teach like Jesus teaches, believe like Jesus believes, forgive like Jesus forgives, and live like Jesus lives - - even if that means challenging or questioning the ways Christian institutions have claimed to love, teach, believe, and forgive in the past. In that same humility we recognize that not a single one of us gets these things right all the time, but find ourselves in different places on our spiritual journeys. In that beautiful mess we are committed to digging deeper into the specifics of our faith with gracious, open, safe, and honest conversation, always giving Jesus center stage.
